Basic Lesson in Reading Cartoons
Recently there have been some concerns from tea partiers that I am making them look stupid by drawing them with googly eyes. Nothing could be further from the truth. Anyone who has any experience reading comics, or has studied any texts on the subject, knows that googly eyes denote craziness, not stupidity. Googly eyes, tongue hanging out, and either swirly or straight lines emanating from the head indicate craziness whenever they appear in comics. Tea bags hanging from the character's hat also help. Direction of the eyebrows indicates whether the character is angry crazy or just dazed crazy. The comics below illustrate the difference. Please write it down.

Anger! Where's the anger, dammit!
I'm concerned by your use of the term "googly" eyes. I can see using such a term to describe an effective online search, ie: "I googlied 'tea party', but only came up with Earl Grey," but am uncomfortable with the association to craziness, especially as evidenced by one's ocular devices. Are Larry and Sergei putting you up to this? Don't be evil.
Oh wait: I thought you said "Google" eyes. Never mind.
