I've been out in the deep woods for the past week, so I was kind of amazed to see how the news has changed on the health care debate over that short period. Public option is dead? I predicted that they'd sell out, but y'know, you kind of hope your dire predictions will be wrong. Maybe still? Anyway, my son took a pony ride with a kind of mean cowboy, but the whole time I was out in the country I never saw anyone with a gun strapped to their leg. Who straps guns to their legs, anyway? Travis Bickle, that's who. Somebody get that guy a nice holster for his birthday.
